World’s ‘oldest saint’, Swami Shivanand Saraswati, who claims to be 129 years old at Maha Kumbh

Prayagraj (UP), Jan 12 (ANI): Swami Shivanand Saraswati, known as world’s ‘oldest saint’, who claims to be 129 years old, reached Maha Kumbh. Swami Shivanand Saraswati is continuing this tradition of attending the Kumbh since around last 100 years. Devotees from across the globe come to get a glimpse of the ‘Baba’ and seek his blessings in Prayagraj. Speaking to ANI, Swami talked about leading a life without any ‘desires’ and talked about his only wish of serving the poor. Baba follows a strict daily routine, waking at 3 AM for meditation, chanting, and yoga, and consuming boiled food. Sharmila Sinha, a disciple of Swamiji shared stories of him and informed that he refrains from accepting donations.
