Youth Exchange Programme organised by Indian Army in South Kashmir

Anantnag (J&K), Aug 25 (ANI): Indian Army organised a cultural programme at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Nowgam in Anantnag district of South Kashmir. It was organised under the aegis of ‘Youth Exchange Programme’. The programme was organised in collaboration with the Education Department of Anantnag district. It aimed to give maximum exposure to students of both states in cultural and educational practices. Many schools participated in the event, specially the students from Karnataka. As part of the Youth Exchange Programme, 2 batches of students from Kodagu Educational and Social Service Trust (KESST) are on an exchange tour in Kashmir. It gave an opportunity to the students to interact and share ideas apart from displaying their traditional dances and songs with students of Karnataka. The local Kashmiri students lauded the steps taken by the Indian Army.
